Our PLAYtips for traveling through the airport

We want all of our passengers to come to the airport informed and prepared.

That means familiarizing yourself with the current COVID-19 regulations and requirements at your destination and current procedures at the airport you are located in.

As a general policy, while traveling through an airport, passengers are requested to:

  • Practice social distancing while limiting contact with people they are not traveling with
  • Wear masks at all times - unless otherwise noted
  • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and use hand sanitizers that are provided at multiple locations throughout the airport

All airport employees are required to follow strict hygiene protocols. All surfaces are cleaned and sanitized multiple times a day including all shared touchpoints:

  • Kiosks
  • Check-in area
  • Handrails
  • Toilets
  • Waiting areas
  • Restaurant area
  • Boarders
  • Gate area
  • Service desks
  • Trolleys
  • Wheelchairs
  • Other common touchpoints

Let’s stay safe together. Please do not travel if you are not feeling well – even minor symptoms can risk all passengers and staff.

Security Screening

All passengers are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing from people they are not traveling with.

Please note that you will be asked to put your personal belongings through security screening.

We recommend washing hands with soap and using a hand sanitizer after going through common areas and touchpoints.

Duty Free & Restaurants

In common areas at the airport, all passengers are required to wear a mask at all times and practice social distancing from people they are not traveling with.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will be able to purchase food or snacks after security screening since restaurants and shops may have limited opening hours due to COVID-19 restrictions. We recommend that passengers plan ahead when it comes to food, especially when traveling with young children. On that note, remember to purchase liquids/drinks after security screening.

We recommend washing hands with soap and using a hand sanitizer after going through common areas and touchpoints.
